HGH stands officially speaking for human growth hormone. Essentially speaking, it’s a hormone naturally found in the human body and it’s produced by the pituitary gland. it’s at its highest levels during early life, and as you age, it decreases, cuttings its numbers in half between the ages of 20 and 30. They say that it is completely and entirely responsible for youth and vitality. So that’s why you increase fat stores, wrinkle, develop age spots, and otherwise have a general breakdown of the body as you age.
Because of this idea, they have marketed it as the proverbial fountain of youth to not only improve your energy and looks, but also to actually improve the function of the vital organs such as the heart. So how do they dispense it? Most people can’t use this method. But originally speaking, they used injections. They conducted valid clinical tests in older individuals which showed decreased body fat, increased lean muscle mass, increased energy, decreased wrinkles, and otherwise decrease in the general breakdown of the body. However, these injections are now illegal for various reasons unless you suffer a certain medical condition.
So now they have HGH supplements that are actually supposed to stimulate the pituitary gland and therefore stimulate the general growth of the body’s own natural HGH within the body. They claim that these will also mimic the benefits of HGH, and they do not cause side effects ideally speaking. There are some supplements that claim to have artificial HGH. But nobody takes their claims all that seriously, and realistically speaking, it would be illegal.
